Yesterday the world lost a talented musician, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, who fell victim to a senseless act of atrocity when he was murdered while performing on stage. Darrel Abbot was the guitarist for the heavy metal band Damageplan, and former Pantera guitarist. Blogs have a way of showing up in search engine results, so as a guitar hobbyist and a fan of his, I'd like to express my sincerest condolences to his friends and family. His unique style was an inspiration to many guitarists and brought a powerful sound to his music genre. I am truly sorry for your loss and many of us feel the pain of it as well. God bless.
